I have a 1986 Toyota 2wd pick-up with a 22R engine. It had a auto tranny on the column
but somewhere along its long line of owners, the shifter ended up on the floor during the last tranny change. This tranny will shift twice and go into passing gear, but will not go into overdrive. The overdrive button is located on the shifter. When i looked at the tranny, i noticed a small hose coming off the left side. It had been cut and blocked off. Can anyone help me with the no shifting problem and tell me where this hose goes? I thank you for any info you can give me.
