I have a 1998 Toyota tacoma with a 4 cclinder 3RZengine.

I have a 1998 Toyota tacoma with a 4 cclinder 3RZengine. Thw current mileage is 85,000 miles. Right now the engine is running fine. Summer is coming on. I would like to know what is the best oil viscosity to use, 5W-30 or 10W-30. I have been using 5W-30.

I would use 10W 30 in the summer no problem. If you live in a very hot climate such as the south or south west you could even step up to 10W 40.
