2008 camry transmisson bogs when shifting at 35/40 mph makes chatter noise when i hit the gas to make it shift it bangs into gear mostly when going up a small incline

There are allot of ECU updates and there are known shifting issues on this transmission especially 07 and early 08. I would take it to the dealer and have it checked for the latest updates for the ecu. If it is to late for the updates you may be looking at a transmission. There have been some snap ring failures on the inside.
